What's new for September 2025

11 September 2025

Hello there,

It has been too long since we provided an update on new developments on MotorComplete, the summer seems to have flown by.

We have spent a fair proportion of our time working on the back end of the platform, focussing on performance and resilience, including improvements to how easy it is to release changes to the software - this is nearly complete.

At the same time our lead engineer changed, and we are pleased to welcome Sean Owen to MotorComplete. As we continue to grow we will continue to add resources, as required - both technically and the people needed to grow successfully and sustainably.

Since we last communicated in early June we are delighted to also welcome the following new brokers to MotorComplete:

  • Blue Chilli Leasing
  • Summit Drive
  • KR Fleet Solutions
  • Rhino Vans
  • Van Zone

Welcome all to MotorComplete, thanks for joining us, we now have over 75 brokers we work alongside.

The following changes have been made to the platform:

Changes to website and CMS

Website

  • You can now enable 'pricing from' on Vans, reducing the amount of term configurations available on the van results cards.
  • The UI of the buttons on email templates has been improved to enable their whole surface to be clickable.
  • Revised marketing consent wording has been added to the checkbox on contact forms.
  • For Used Lex we now include additional fuel types for Hybrids.
  • Timeouts have been added to the Feeds FTP, to ensure a problematic feed from one broker cannot get stuck for an excessive time and slow down or block other brokers.

Changes to CRM

CRM

  • It is now possible to edit / rework a proposal that has been signed by the customer. This means it is far easier to correct errors made without having to start again. To proceed we have enabled the completed proposal to be duplicated, then shared via a URL in an editable format, which can then be re-signed if applicable.
  • Tasks will now default to the signed in user, reducing the number of clicks you need to make.
  • Document uploads have been added to the Renewal record and the Contact.
  • We made a change to how Vehicle Orders are presented on the CRM. Previously we presented the latest revision, and this is what would be put live. We have changed the logic to now put the Vehicle Order in Play live. In the majority of cases this has tended to be the same in any case.
