What's new for September 2024

Hi all, this is the latest MotorComplete update for the changes delivered in September 24, plus what we are focussing on next.  It was a busy and varied month with a mix of new features, efficiency improvements and upgrades to infrastructure.

We delivered - 

• Price Matrix - a feature called the Price Matrix has been added to the main menu that allows you to compare the rentals by funder by Cap ID. This is a great tool to help you understand which funders are strongest in which areas.
• Ratebooks and Offer processing - there is an improvement to reduce the amount of work you need to complete when loading ratebooks and offers as maintained and non-maintained. Previously it was necessary to run the same process twice indicating as maintained and non-maintained, respectively. There is now a new field called Maintenance Type, with dropdown options for Maintained, Non-Maintained, Both. If you select both you only need to run the process once.
• BIK Calculator - we have introduced a BIK calculator that is being trialled at 3 brokers, let me know if you would like to find out more.
• Modifier released to all brokers - there has been a pricing tool in place for some time, called the Modifier, but it has only been taken up by certain brokers to date. We have released it to all brokers, and we have added a feature that allows you to select a deal and then if the deal came from a ratebook, to generate a special offer from that deal.
• Always in Stock -  an interesting feature was requested from one of our brokers who is also part of a main dealership. We have enabled a setting in Ratebook settings to allow you to define a vehicle as always being available “In Stock”, by Cap ID.
• Used Car Node improvements - changes have been made to the Used Car Node, that allows for more flexibility connected to how to present VAT, and also the option to present pricing differently e.g. From £350.  We may also consider renaming this node as it can be used for other things as well as ‘Used’. For example creating calls to action for a vehicle with a set 'from price'.
• Custom Forms to email - you can now build a custom form; have it submitted to your selected email address and have the option to create an enquiry or not in the CRM.
• Report Change - a change has been made to the Custom Vehicle Order report, to include a field for Revised Delivery Date. Additional notes have been added to the Platform Help system to define the data included in each of the Customer Reports. Please carefully consider the importance of utilising the right Opportunity ‘copy’ to ensure the reports work correctly (as it is possible to change the Opportunity stage headings)
• Configurable Admin Panel - a new Admin panel has been added to the Admin Dashboard. You can turn this on or off in the CMS via settings/CRM then scroll to the bottom of the page. It is configurable so you can select the Opportunity Status you wish to monitor and track
• Renewal Date Placeholder - we have added a new placeholder to the general template on the email templates, that you can automate via triggers. The placeholder is for renewal date
• Faster Processing - we completed significant upgrades to the infrastructure we use for processing ratebooks and offers.

What’s next

• 4 new brokers are expected on the MotorComplete platform over the next couple of weeks
• We plan to launch AutoConverse, a great AI chatbot onto the broker platform
• New partnerships for short term leasing
• And great deals on stock vehicles with funding to be made available
