What's new for September 2022

August saw us focused on delivering enhanced functionality to the CRM and automated email system. Before going into more details, we are delighted to welcome Van Kings on board. We've been working with them to add support for Outright Purchase to the platform.

MotorComplete already has comprehensive automation for documents and emails that need to be sent to customers during the sales process. You can now also configure reminder emails that are sent if there is no subsequent activity following a quote, proposal or order. You can configure how long you want to wait before triggering the reminder emails.

We've also added a link to the vehicle details page from the notification email received by the broker when an enquiry is made, making it easier to see the deal, especially if you are not logged into CRM.

Compliance and record keeping has always been a priority, and we have now revised and improved the way documents are organised, uploaded and automatically updated. We will also automatically remove personal documents that are no longer needed from the platform, for GDPR compliance.

Other changes include:

• Improved emails that introduce insurance products (for example AutoProtect Lease Gap) once a customer order is confirmed, and introduced a follow up once a delivery date has been arranged
• Automatically put the relevant Customer Order into play once the proposal is signed
• Enhanced user experience of the Task system when allocating task to yourself
• Changed the 'generate offer button' to exclude maintenance where Auto Serve is already enabled 
• Added 'Other' payment type option to the customer order payment section
• Changes to document fees for Finance Lease
• Added the option to show a body style search field on the homepage
