The month of May proved busy where we developed new features as part of onboarding new clients, with these features ending up available across the platform.
This month we are delighted to welcome AMT Auto, and Intelligent Fleet Management to the MotorComplete broker platform.
Welcome to Rich McKowen who has joined as Head of Client Services, some of you will already have spoken with Rich. Early focus for Rich will be on supporting small change, broker implementation, platform adoption, contracts, and documentation !
Changes to website and CMS
- We have added a new block to the CMS which allows you to add a carousel to your website
- A new approach for tagging on hubs has been included, this enables a tagged hub to be created, and at the same time maintain the header search filters
- Video clips can be added to the website header, instead of an image or a solid background
- The vehicle results cards now have an option to be presented with buttons, instead of drop down filters
- We have add an option to include an "Order now" call to action on the vehicle results card, this takes the customer to a URL that you can specify
- Manufacturer logo blocks now have the option to be dynamic or static on any suitable page types, so you can pick what to include, or dynamically reflect the deals loaded
- For brokers using the AR share functionality there is an override added to allow you to have different commissions on the AR ratebook, to your own
- We now support placeholders on image Alt tags
- We have added self referencing canonicals to page types that previously lacked this SEO focussed support
Changes to CRM
- We have made changes to the customer quote acceptance journey to reduce friction where it has been reported that the customer believes acceptance of the T&Cs is ordering the vehicle
- The customers middle name has been added to the proposal forms as it is now required by some funders
- We have added a feature to the Vehicle Order that allows the broker to determine if the invoice is raised, and whether it is paid or not
- A date field has been added to the document uploads on CRM
Finally, more brokers are taking up the opportunity to receive ratebooks directly to their CMS from Kia, MG, Audi, and Trust Ford, and additionally from ACL, for short term deals. Similarly the BIK calculator is proving popular. Please let us know if you are interested.
Thanks for your continuing support.
