What's new for April 2026

21 May 2026
It has been a busy month where we have focussed on platform infrastructure changes, as well as some interesting new features.
Key changes delivered

Website and CMS:
  • It is now possible to generate a dynamic header image on manufacturer pages that reflects the manufacturer. Note only available for CVD image users
  • We added content to the offer creation UI to include paint and trim codes, as well as options to indicate if paint is chargeable or not.
  • We created an additional content block type that can be added on to deal pages. This can be set up for Cars or Vans loaded via ratebook or offer, and it is controlled within either ratebooks or offers nodes
  • Where the lease term is less than 12 months we have changed the copy to read 'Contract Mileage' instead of 'Annual Mileage'
  • There is now support for Ancillary products on the quote request page, where it is possible to configure and set up support for Alloy and Paint protection
  • We built a new setting that enables the 'Fuel Type' filter to be displayed on the homepage search block, just as we already do for bodystyle
  • A fee override has been added to the Used Lex implementation, for Salary Sacrifice
  • A new webhook now sends leads directly from CarWow to the CRM
  • On the Cars2Buy comparison site feed we changed it to allow you to include Cars & Vans at the same time
CRM:
  • We improved the cooling-off management process. Indicators have been added as pills to the top of the Opportunity and Vehicle Order, they are colour coded to show if the cooling off notice is still valid. In addition, an indicator has been added to the Vehicle on Order screen to show that it is ok to proceed with a delivery
  • The platform has been amended to allow the model year from CAP to pull through and be displayed on quotes and quote emails via the CRM.
  • An additional column has been added to the enquiry view on CRM to indicate lease type as BCH or PCH
  • We can now add the applicable funder on the enquiry email heading from the website
  • The assigned salesperson has been added to the Fleet size report

Infrastructure
New platform infrastructure was delivered, allowing us to deploy fixes and changes without interrupting the websites. This hopefully means that other than by exception we will not need to block out time on Thursday evening to release changes. This new infrastructure setup is referred to as a Blue/Green. Occasionally, after we move from Blue to Green or Green to Blue environment, a small number of users can experience access issues. This is always easily solved by clearing the browser's cookies for the previous 24 hours. Please contact support only if you get stuck. Additionally, we have implemented new infrastructure for ratebook processing and feeds, which will improve performance and resilience.
Roadmap
The platform roadmap, shared last month on Trello, has recently been updated, brokers have been invited to access this. Consequently, we will  remove the Community section of the platform. Help remains available through the help system and the helpdesk auto responder. Please review the available help system before seeking support. If you are reporting an issue or asking a question, send it to support@autoplatforms.co.uk for a more efficient response as this mailbox is monitored by 3 or 4 of the MotorComplete team.
Shortly we will contact brokers to ask for their input on the areas you'd like us to focus on for the remainder of 2026. We are currently committed to completing the integration of multiple funder APIs, the Fleet Procure 2 API, the Customer Portal, and AI tooling to support enquiry, quote management and renewals.
Fundraising:

Charity Bike Ride
At the end of May, our MD, Anthony Flack, will ride 300 miles over 3 days in support of The Urologists Foundation, which does amazing work in the areas of prostate, bladder and kidney cancer. The ride starts in Newcastle, goes to Berwick, then Edinburgh and finally Glasgow. If you are able to support the fundraising click here for a link LINK or just wish him luck !
Reviews:
Finally it is very helpful to leave a review on Google - we have over 80 brokers on the platform and only 11 reviews!
